How to Care for Your Crystal, Jade & Wood Jewelry

Tianshan jade bead bracelet care

Natural stones, wood and hand-knotted cord are living materials. A few small habits keep them beautiful for years.

Every day

  • Last on, first off. Put your jewelry on after lotion, perfume and hairspray, and take it off before you exercise, swim, shower or sleep.
  • Avoid knocks. Crystal and jade are hard but can chip against desks, counters and other bracelets.
  • Store it separately in its pouch or gift box so stones don’t scratch each other.

By material

Crystal & stone (citrine, quartz, obsidian, lapis, tiger’s eye)

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, rinse quickly in lukewarm water and dry right away. Avoid long soaks, harsh cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners. Keep colored stones out of strong direct sun for long periods, which can fade some colors.

Jade

Wipe with a soft cloth. Jade often looks richer with gentle, everyday wear. Avoid hot water and chemicals.

Wood (jujube, peach wood)

Keep wood dry — water can cause swelling and cracks. If it looks dry, rub with a clean, soft cloth; wood naturally deepens in color as you wear it.

Gourds, sand gold & enamel

Wipe with a dry cloth only. Keep away from water and perfume to protect the finish.

Elastic & knotted cord

Roll bracelets on and off instead of stretching them. Elastic cord naturally loosens with time — if it does, contact us.

Our 30-day quality warranty

If a piece develops a quality issue under normal wear within 30 days of delivery — such as a broken cord or loose fitting — we’ll repair or replace it free of charge. After 30 days, we still offer repairs. Returns & warranty

A note on “cleansing”

Some people like to reset their pieces in moonlight or with incense smoke. It’s a gentle, personal ritual — just avoid water for wood and direct heat for any piece.
